Chelsea Lindan, LAc, MSTCM, incorporates the principles of Chinese Medicine and its holistic approach to serve her clients. When considering the diagnosis and treatment plan, “Chelsa” will choose from the methods within the scope of practice, which include acupuncture, ear seeds, medicinal herbs, cupping, gua sha, essential oils, stone healing, nutrition counseling, and life-style coaching.
Chelsa has recently included the Dr. Tan Balance method in her protocol for treating pain management, addiction recovery, anxiety, and PTSD symptoms. Chinese Medicine addresses both acute and chronic conditions, some of which include injury recovery, insomnia, menstrual problems, migraine headaches, back aches, sciatica, weight management, digestion issues. In her clinical role, Chelsa listens with compassion and provides support for whatever condition or stage the client is experiencing.
With over twenty years of experience in healthcare, Chelsa was inspired to integrate her background work in Western medicine and psychology by studying Traditional Chinese Medicine so that she could best serve her client’s needs. Her undergraduate degree in psychology from Sonoma State University provided a foundation for the understanding of the human psyche, which then led to graduating with a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences in Oakland, California.
